Tasting Note: Dark Cabernet color with beautiful aromas of black cherry, cassis, plus 5-spice, vanilla. Big, ripe and mouth-coating across the palate. The flavors are similar to the aromas with ripe fruit, berry/cherry pie, moderate tannins, and nice length.
Accolades: Bright, polished and ripe version, with cassis, cherry paste and plum puree flavors gliding through. A solid graphite note runs underneath, while the finish glistens with hints of anise and applewood. There's still the late twinge of the vintage's telltale toothy grip. Best from 2023 through 2034. 4,368 cases made.
